1. Credentials: Unfortunately, not all carriers are legit. For starters, a carrier must have at a minimum an active DOT and an MC# if traveling nationwide. TSE Logistics, LLC can check the DOT and MC of any carriers nationwide. We ensure that every carrier that we represent, is in compliance.
2. Insurance: A carrier must have a minimum of $100-$150K in cargo or a minimum of $1,000,000 for higher end vehicles. Unfortunately, not all carriers carry insurance. When you ship your auto with TSE Logistics, we ensure that all affiliated and preferred carriers have the proper insurance with proof.
3. Reputation: We all know that reputation is key for any business. By default, one of our criteria for our preferred carriers is they have no less than 100% rating.
4. Equipment: The wear and tear of trailers can affect the reliability of your property getting delivered on time. Another reason to use a transportation specialist like TSE Logistics, LLC is because of the access we have to all equipment used by all carriers.
